Our Artist High Whistle is a perfect whistle for beginning as well as advanced players. The body is hand made from high grade aluminium. The flute head is designed and produced in our workshop as well and made from resin, resulting in a warm, well defined sound overall. Tuning can be done by moving the head up and down (+/- 12 ct). Our whistles are played by Trinity, Sjoerd Visser and others (see our Artist page). Available keys: Bb, B, C, D, Eb and E. You can opt for a second extra body with your purchase. This allows you to exchange bodies without having to buy a complete whistle. The Artist Whistles are also available in carbon, brass and cocobolo. This is our new line of Irish Whistles! For the time being only in key of D. This line has an ABS body and the renewed Artist mouthpiece according to our own design. Plays easily, octaves come very natural and has a nice overall round sound. This is an ideal tool for when you already have our Artist or Pro Whistle, and need other keys that you might play less often on. The carbon material feels pleasantly warm to the touch, because unlike brass it has very low heat conductivity and does not take heat from your hand. The air column in the instrument behaves in similar fashion, remaining almost at breath temperature regardless of the ambient temperature where you play and regardless of the instrument’s temperature. This reduces the need to re-tune after you have been playing for a while, and also reduces condensation build-up inside the instrument.

The alto whistle is available in the keys: F, G, A, Bb and B. This is also a tunable whistle and available in Aluminium or Carbon. All of our Artist-Series whistles are designed to be used as session-whistles. Every whistle is handmade in our workshop and finetuned by hand.
